Scorpio Stopped Talking To Me

Parenting Guide for Parents ......

From: Grafica Cristiana

"It's
forbidden to cross the desert at this time of year, "said the official Mauritania seriously. No Arab would dare to do so.

"You're right," replied the traveler, "but we are followers of Christ, and Christians are crazy.

was how Michael Asher, English writer, and Maria Antonietta, his Italian wife, undertook the journey.

eight thousand kilometers traveled by camel across the Sahara, from Mauritania to reach the Nile in his book Sahara
Hardcastle
Michael Asher described the tremendous difficulties of the journey. No Westerner had ever dared to do before. The dreadful desert, with its incredible heat, transformed what began as a rapturous event in a distressing odyssey. But made the trip. Served their purpose.

Of the many experiences that the author emphasizes in his book, there is one that we should consider. Here His words: "Two people who were in Mauritania, when we reached the Nile we had merged into one."

often shock in misfortune separate marriages, because they love to be cool, arising out of highlighting accusations and recriminations. So many people are convinced that economic scarcity is a threat to marriage.
But what happened in the case of Michael and Maria Antonietta? They suffered untold hardships. The troubles of these months of uncertainty had to be completely extinguished love, but it was not. The opposite happened, as they say: "The terrible desert we merged into one person. "
What circumstances in the desert had no normal situations in our lives? The undeniable fact that there was no alternative. Alone in the wilderness, they had to turn to. There were only two people, in their grief they had to find their affection for each other.

Instead, many of us if we allow an alternative. If the marriage did not we work out, we divorced because we have that option. Therein lies the failure of many marriages.

no alternative. When we determine that our marriage will be "up death do us part ', with it set its strength. Christ in our home produce that environment. If we ask Him to be Lord of our life, our marriage will also be ensuring its permanence. In this happy state there is no alternative that is worth.

Unfortunately many people think that this is their marriage. Use criticism, nagging, yelling and constant conflict with the hope of forcing his partner to change. The trouble is that, feeling criticized, often the spouse accuses the couple of the worst offenses to defend. Both the wife and husband end up convinced that the other has to change things at home improve.

This type of attitude leads to negative patterns that come to destroy the marriage. Some examples of these are:
05860007_filtered People begin to notice the slightest fault of their partner. Therefore the minimum things become major conflicts. Both spouses accuse endless. lawsuits increase.
Sadness, anger and negative emotions reign in the home. Both people feel physically, mentally and spiritually weary of the constant critical.
no peace at home and love every day fades.
The spouse ignores his own faults and is convinced his partner is the one that has to change. So either change. begin to doubt whether the marriage will work and end up thinking that the only solution is separation and divorce.
Quite a few couples who fall into this vicious cycle. The trouble is that no matter how much energy and effort invested in changing the spouse: no change occurs. This is because it really change our spouse is not our role. Change does not come by force but by choice.
Marriage is not a state of domination where things are made pursuant to the will of one person. In fact, marriage is a state of co-dependency. Both husband and wife need each other to form a home and according to the will of God. The Bible teaches that the husband and wife are one. Being one does not come to force, but each one I willingly sacrifice for the good of the U.S..
If you really want to see change is the marriage we suggest the following:
Avoid criticizing your spouse. The constant criticism and complaints not bring the change you want in the marriage. Let things of the past in the past. Forgive and do not mention what has already been resolved.
If you can not forgive, ask yourself why not and ask for help from God that can forgive. Avoid words that are hard to forget, such as: "I do not stand, do not I love you, do not respect you, and do not believe you, do not forgive you, everything is your fault", etc. Be honest and admit the mistakes that you have contributed to problems at home.
Spend some time alone to meditate and ask yourself if your expectations of your spouse are realistic. Many times we demand too much spouse because we want to fill a need. If this is the case, talk to your partner and together we ask God that He is the one who comes to fill the void that your partner can not fill. Use positive words and look at the good of marriage and not just evil.
  • Instead of spending their strength in trying to change your husband or wife, use that time to talk to God and ask that you first change yourself. Set an example and be the first to change.
  • hope
These tips come to bring positive changes in your home. By letting the Holy Spirit, humility, forgiveness and honesty come to change the lives of their marriage, allow changes to be made at home in an environment that honors and pleases God. meditation texts:
Ephesians 5:21-26: Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is head of his wife as Christ is the head and savior of the church, which is his body. Just as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it to make it holy. He purified by washing with water through the word.
Colossians 3:12-13 - Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with love compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, so as to tolerate each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against another. Just as the Lord forgave forgave you. 18010033_filtered
I Peter 3:8-9 - In short, live in harmony with each other, share joys and sorrows, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil evil or insult with insult but with blessing, because to this you were called to inherit a blessing.
